This tomato tart is simply the ultimate recipe to make during summer. coming from the south of France and more precisely from the Provence region, this delicious Tomato Tart will bring you a combination of flavors that are uniquely french. Dijon mustard and tomatoes goes wonderfully well together and that crunchy Puff pastry will have you come back for more.
in terms of bakeware, this recipe only requires the use of a baking tray, so don’t worry if you don’t have a pie or tart dish.

lay down the puff pastry on your baking tray- cut a large rectangle of puff pastry and place it directly on your baking tray. |

Add the dijon Mustardusing a spoon, spread evenly all of the mustard directly on the pastry base |

Add the Tomato sauceSpread now all of the tomato sauce over the mustard |

Sprinkle the breadcrumbs overSprinkle all of the breadcrumbs evenly over the tomato and mustard making sure all the pastry base is covered. (the breadcrumbs are used to soak the juice of the tomatoes when the tart is cooking) |

Lay down the tomaoteswash and slice all of the tomatoes ( in slices of half a centimeter thick) and dispose each of the slices on the pastry base. (make sure all the pastry base is covered with tomatoes as shown in the video) |

Add the seasoning and olive oil- Sprinkle the tomatoes with the salt, pepper, and dry herbs. (the amount of seasoning can vary upon people taste so use as little or as much as you think is best) |

Bake the Tomato TartPlace the tart in the oven and bake for 35 minutes at 200 Celsius / 425 Fahrenheit. |
