My name is Stephane and this is the French Cooking Academy.
About 3 years ago I decided to go on a journey to rediscover my country own culinary history and its world acclaimed recipes. Armed with French culinary school books and other classics like the guide culinaire from Escoffier, I started to tackle all of the essential French culinary techniques needed , in order to be able to seriously start cooking and explore the world of French cuisine. As time past, my interest grew and I started to think that “learning new cooking skills is great but being able to share it with everyone would be even better.”This is when I decided to start recording my progress on video. The French Cooking Academy Youtube Channel was born. and today or more than 150 videos later I still feel like I have just barely scratch the surface.but i am loving every minute of it.

My name is Stephane, I was born in France near Versailles, where my life-long love affair with the French cuisine began. Originally a home-taught chef, my cooking techniques were further developed by reading French Culinary school books and travelling through France tasting the hundreds of specialities my country has to offer.
“When I am not cooking, I love traveling back home – particularly visiting French villages to discover new local specialties that I can share with everyone.
