3 easy ways to cook apples while in confinement

In these confinement times food can be flying of the shelf and you may miss out on the essentials. However for some odd reason Fruits and apples in particular are always available ( at least every where I am shopping)
It si really add because apple are really good for your health and great at boosting your immune system when eaten raw with the skin on. But today we are going further and recap on the apple cooking basics and see how apple can be cooked and use to make delicious addition for breakfast. if you feel adventurous enough and can get your hands on some pre-made puff pastry sheets then you can try to create some delicious apple pastry treats ( like apple turnover) with minimum effort.
Ingredients:
Stewed apples:
- 1 kg of apples ( any kind you like)
- 3 tablespoons of water ( or more if your apples are now too juicy)
Apple compote:
- 500 grams of stewed apples
- 3 tablespoon of sugar
- 100 ml or more of water(depending on how much natural water come out of the apples)
- optional: cinnamon, vanilla or other flavoring
Apples pockets:
- 1 roll of pre-made puff pastry roll
- 1 tablespoons of apple compote per pocket ( the size of these treats can of course vary if you like to make large style turnover you can)
- for the egg wash: (1 whole egg mixed with 1 tablespoon of water)
